All movements will be expertly coached and scaled based on the abilities of the athlete
The strength endurance group class at OMP is a fantastic way to build strength AND cardiovascular endurance at the same time. Each class is designed to help you work hard, build strength, and become more fit - and to have fun doing it!!
Enjoy working together as a group to build rep strength gradually keeping your heart rate in a healthy range and increasing your stamina for whatever adventures you do outside of the gym!

Strength Endurance Programs incorporate a variety of ballistic movements (like kettlebell swings, cleans, snatches, etc. and use carefully prescribed work to rest ratios - often, this means working with a clock. This allows students to build aerobic capacity and volume without soreness or undo stress on joints.

Students looking to begin Strength Classes must have completed at least one of the following:
Strong Start Beginner Kettlebell Course (6 week course) to learn safe kettlebell technique while having fun!
Private Training 5-Pack to learn safe kettlebell technique in 1-on-1 sessions with a coach before jumping into class. *Students differ in learning styles and paces. If choosing private training, it may be necessary to get more than one 5-pack depending on the student.
20-min Chat with a Coach to strategize around an optimal place to start based on your goals and experience
All movements will be taught in Hardstyle Kettlebell fashion. For students to stay safe and to enjoy classes fully, It is best to be well versed in kettlebell movement such as the Deadlift, Swing, Squat, Press, Turkish Getup & Clean.

Absolutely! After completing the Strong Start Course or Private Training, you and your coaches will have already built a foundation of information about your body that sets the classes up for success, fun & growth!
Every step of the way, the coaches provide feedback and suggestions on set/rep options to match your strength & work capacity, & alternative exercises to match your body/movement history so that you get the most out of classes and continue making progress.
