Hi Coaches, Just wanted to say I have lost 20 pounds since I started working with you. I'm pretty happy about that. I'm even more happy about getting stronger, however. I love the classes! I've definitely gotten the kettlebell bug. I'm getting a couple more delivered this Thursday, a 12kg and 20kg (planning ahead!). :-) Thanks again. Joining OMP last summer and finding a strength routine was definitely a highlight of the year. Our family is all way stronger from the kettlebell fundamentals and training. I would be totally psyched for a t-shirt! I am a size Mel. Thanks for all the programming and work you're doing remotely to keep the community strong and fit.

Skiing this week and there were such stunning views (at Heavenly in Tahoe). I felt much stronger than usual on the slopes yesterday- what a fun realization to feel my training pay-off!

I experienced my first "what the hell" effect, as Pavel seems to call, when I got back on my bike today after two months off. It felt great, the lactic acid buildup on hill climbs was notably reduced, and my aerobic capacity was on point. Really incredible to feel the effects of a year of kettlebell training combined with the S&S focus during the last half of 2020. Amazing what timeless swings and consistency can do!

- I just measured myself today and thought I'd share some exciting stats! My body has totally changed since I started OMP in October!
Some stats:
- I started with an 8kg bell and I considered it "heavy" for SxS. I remember struggling with the get ups. I'm currently on a 20kg bell for SxS and getting comfortable with it. Will start 24kg soon.
- I lost ~12cm of waist circumference. Starting to see some abs!!
- I gained 4.5 kg in weight. I'm sure a bunch of this is water, and some fat. But I feel good about it because I can see the difference in the mirror! All my shirts are tight around my shoulders and loose at my waist. My shoulders are so much more swole!
- My mental health has improved SUBSTANTIALLY since I started training! Ditto for the quality of my sleep. Thanks for running these classes! This is probably the best shape I've been in since my university days. I'm so excited to see what happens when I finally reach the 32kg bell!
