Barbell 101: Power to the People

Either you never touched the barbell, or you dabbled in the past.

Now you choose to be strong and to do it right.

At our Barbell 101 workshop you will learn:

  • Develop total body strength with just two highest yield lifts (Fact: some of the strongest athletes in the world are ultra-minimalists)

  • The Deadlift—the most “functional” strength exercise and the most hardcore lift of all time

  • The Bench Press—the undisputed champion for building upper body strength faster than any other exercise

  • The Bridge Floor Press—a favorite of old-time strongmen and wrestlers, it is a bench press with no bench

  • Perform these lifts like a pro—with techniques perfected for maximal strength and longevity

  • Keep gaining strength non-stop for up to a year with state-of-the-art programming that blends Soviet science and American ingenuity

  • Build quality muscle “organically”—along with strength

  • Experience minimal fatigue and soreness—because you need energy outside the gym

*Bonus* Mini Workshop: Kettlebell Windmill & Kettlebell Bent Press:

➊ KB Windmill & KB Bent Press: This lesson will be taught in layers to create joint space in the hips, spine, and shoulders while learning the technique behind the KB Windmill and KB Bent Press. Learn how to set YOUR structure, breathe behind the shield, and optimize use of both lifts (and the drills leading to the full movement) for your practice and goals.

➋ Learn two different styles of the KB Windmill and KB Bent Press in order to find an optimal set-up and movement path for your structure, joint space, strength levels, and training objectives.

➌ How to use the KB Windmill and pieces of the Bent Press for movement prep, to create more joint space and movement, to increase strength, and how to use the KB Bent Press for specific objectives learning about loads and intensities most appropriate for your current skill and strength levels

➍ How to apply fast and loose techniques between reps and sets as needed for effective recovery.
